The utility network is accessed through a combination of services to support utility network workflows. Several service types are utilized in addition to extending the feature service to support the utility network. These extension services are enabled on the map service by the capabilities that the service will support.
The utility network is accessed through services using a combination of capabilities:
- Utility Network service—Provides tracing capabilities on networks, manages subnetworks and tiers, and validates network topology
- Network Diagram service—Provides the capability to create, store, edit, and maintain network diagrams
- Feature service—Provides the capability to apply operations such as edits and queries on utility network features
- Version Management service—Exposes capabilities to manage versions with feature services to work with branch versioned datasets
License:To publish these service types, your ArcGIS Enterprise member account must be licensed with the Utility Network user type extension. This extension can be included in a user type or as an add-on license. The ArcGIS Server site to which you publish must be federated with the portal.
